About the Blogger

First and foremost, I am loved by God and a follower of Jesus Christ.  After that, I’m a husband, an English as a second language teacher, and an aspiring poet.

I grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa, but moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, to attend Bethel University, graduating with an elementary education degree in 2009.  I currently work as an English as a second language teacher at an elementary school in Minneapolis, MN, where I live with my wonderful wife, Laura.

  1. Thank you very much for your visit to my blog–it’s always nice to meet another brother!! You have a lovely blog–and wife! How do you like MN? I spent 9 years during my youth in Cloquet, if you’re familiar with that little town. May God richly bless you today and throughout the New Year.

  2. Thanks, Caddo, for your encouraging words. We have really enjoyed living here in Minneapolis. We’ve been living in the Cities since we got married over three-and-a-half years ago now. I don’t even mind the fact that I’m beginning to pronounce my O’s with that all-too-distinct Minnesohhta sound 🙂 Minneapolis is a beautiful city. I’m not familiar with Cloquet, but I have taken a trip up to northern Minnesota and know how beautiful it is up there, especially during the fall. Blessings on you, too.

    Grace and peace,
    Eric
